This Wretched Place

No one remembers the purpose of the abandoned building in the woods at the edge of town, but everyone thinks they do. Ask any local and they'll tell you it was a school, an orphanage, or a hospital, and that it closed down after a fire, a murder, or because of a series of strange disappearances.

No one knows for sure because no one goes there.

No one except you.

This Wretched Place is a Wretched and Alone solo journaling game that places the player in the role of a horror movie protagonist, lost in a long-abandoned building. It is played with a deck of cards, a tumbling block tower, and a method to record journal entries.

This Wretched Place comes as a 20 page A4 PDF with full colour front and back covers and an interior that can be printed in black and white.
